Typical Day in the Role
Minimum 8+ years experience testing data center/server hardware. Minimum 8+ years development experience with C++ (and Python).
The main function of a Lab/Test Engineer at this level is to apply configuration skills at an intermediate to high level. The Test Engineer will analyze, design, and develop test plans and should be familiar with at least one programming language.

Typical Day in the Role
- Purpose of the Team: Focus on security hardware and intellectual property. Work is primarily open source, with some internal code review.
- Key Projects: Support development and testing for technologies deployed in large-scale server environments.
- Task Breakdown:10% meetings

- Configure and test hardware devices across Windows Server and Ubuntu Server platforms.
- Deploy and manage test machines, refine test plans, execute test cases, perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams.
- Produce detailed reports and maintain strong analytical skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, C++, and Rust is a strong plus.
- Software testing experience in cloud and server environments.
- Ability to read and write at least one programming language (C#, C/C++, SQL, etc. Rust is a plus).
- Knowledge of software quality assurance practices and testing aptitude.
- Familiarity with PC hardware and virtual machine deployment.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals preferred.
- Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated project management ability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years experience in relevant roles.
