Limited support for Sales, Aftermarket, and Field Service is included.
What You'll Do
Technical ownership
o SCR/SNCR scope: skids, reagent injection piping, ductwork, internal frames, catalyst.
o Ammonia systems: storage tanks, unloading skids, vaporizers, pump skids.

What You'll Do
Technical ownership
- Engineer SCR systems for combined cycle (HRSGs), simple-cycle gas turbines, packaged/industrial boilers, and fired heaters; support SNCR where applicable.
- Develop complete technical designs for:
o SCR/SNCR scope: skids, reagent injection piping, ductwork, internal frames, catalyst.
o Ammonia systems: storage tanks, unloading skids, vaporizers, pump skids.
- Own all process, mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and controls elements of the design.
Deliverables & approvals
- Produce engineering documents and drawings: P&IDs, general arrangements, detailed fabrication drawings, electrical schematics, data sheets, BOMs, and customer interface docs.
- Incorporate customer specifications and standards; lead design reviews; obtain customer approvals.
- Work with the internal design group to turn concepts into submittals and final fabrication packages.
Fabrication & supplier interface
- Provide technical support to internal/external fabricators during build; resolve RFIs and non-conformances.
- Perform shop inspections of equipment prior to shipment.
- Coordinate with component suppliers and third-party engineers to align specifications, lead times, and cost.
Schedule, cost, and change management
- Meet or beat the committed engineering schedule; track and report engineering milestones.
- Engineer to budget; identify and document scope changes; collaborate with Project Management to drive change orders.
- Communicate directly with customers, suppliers, fabricators, and Sales as the technical point of contact.
Continuous improvement
- Participate in new product/product improvement initiatives and design standardization.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering (mechanical, chemical, or related) or technical equivalent.
- 8+ years of engineering experience in industrial equipment/projects with direct customer interaction ("customer engineering").
- Proficiency reading/producing P&IDs, GA drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-discipline designs and moving projects from design through fabrication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct SCR/SNCR system experience.
- Experience with large ductwork and structural steel systems.
- Project Management experience (schedule, cost, risk, change orders).
- Subcontract management experience (fabrication, field services, or specialty engineering).
Work Style
