LaSalle Network is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading manufacturing team in Waukesha, WI. This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical aptitude who enjoys working hands-on to improve processes, maintain equipment, and enhance workflow efficiencies. If you have experience with CAD design, CNC programming, and lean manufacturing principles, this is an excellent opportunity to make an impact and grow your career. Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:



  • Improve manufacturing processes and workflow on the shop floor by implementing lean principles

  • Maintain and update product data in production databases and ERP systems

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment with a sense of urgency

  • Utilize SolidWorks CAD software to create and revise production drawings, plant layouts, and design improvements

  • Optimize CNC programs for efficiency and production demand

  • Develop and maintain shop floor and customer product instructions, as well as jigs and fixtures

  • Organize and manage production drawings, ensuring accessibility and accuracy

  • Collaborate with Tooling, QA, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to develop and revise products

  • Perform additional duties as assigned



Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field OR equivalent experience (six months to one year of relevant work experience)

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software and Microsoft Office

  • Experience in CNC programming, process improvement, and production drawings

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions

  • Ability to work with trigonometry, geometry, and statistical analysis

  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and collaborate effectively across teams

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally

  • Exposure to mechanical parts, power equipment, and moderate noise levels in a manufacturing setting
