About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Commercial Loan Officer to join our high-performing team in Broomfield, CO. This mid-level role is responsible for originating, developing, and servicing a portfolio of commercial loans while ensuring exceptional member service and community engagement.

This is a hybrid position requiring at least 50% in-person presence over a two-week period.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to attract and retain commercial loan clients

  • Originate and service a wide range of commercial loans and credit solutions

  • Serve as the main point of contact for members throughout the loan lifecycle

  • Build strong relationships with members, referral sources, and community partners

  • Ensure complete and accurate data collection during loan application and underwriting

  • Monitor industry trends and local market dynamics to support lending strategies

  • Actively manage and grow the assigned commercial loan portfolio

  • Cross-sell relevant credit union products and services

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial or business lending and servicing

  • Proven success in a sales and production-focused financial services environment

  • Strong working knowledge of commercial lending products, services, and regulations

  • Demonstrated ability to manage an existing commercial loan portfolio

Preferred:

  • Experience working in or with community banks or credit unions

  • Familiarity with Colorado business and lending environment
