About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Commercial Loan Officer to join our high-performing team in Broomfield, CO. This mid-level role is responsible for originating, developing, and servicing a portfolio of commercial loans while ensuring exceptional member service and community engagement.
This is a hybrid position requiring at least 50% in-person presence over a two-week period.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies to attract and retain commercial loan clients
Originate and service a wide range of commercial loans and credit solutions
Serve as the main point of contact for members throughout the loan lifecycle
Build strong relationships with members, referral sources, and community partners
Ensure complete and accurate data collection during loan application and underwriting
Monitor industry trends and local market dynamics to support lending strategies
Actively manage and grow the assigned commercial loan portfolio
Cross-sell relevant credit union products and services
Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in commercial or business lending and servicing
Proven success in a sales and production-focused financial services environment
Strong working knowledge of commercial lending products, services, and regulations
Demonstrated ability to manage an existing commercial loan portfolio
Preferred:
Experience working in or with community banks or credit unions
Familiarity with Colorado business and lending environment
