Role: Active Directory Administrator
Location: Halifax, NS (Remote)

Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Engineer with a strong background in identity and access management, including GMSA (Group Managed Service Accounts), LAPS (Local Administrator Password Solution), and PowerShell scripting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AD migrations, security hardening, and enterprise-scale Active Directory environments.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- 8+ years of experience in Active Directory engineering and administration
- Proven track record in implementing and managing:
- Group Managed Service Accounts (GMSA)
- Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS)
- Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation, auditing, and administrative tasks
- Experience with Active Directory migrations and domain consolidations across environments
- In-depth knowledge of Group Policy, OU structure design, delegation models, and AD replication troubleshooting
- Familiarity with IAM/PAM concepts, including role-based access control and directory integrations
Preferred / Optional Skills:
- Experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux system administration
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Security-first mindset with attention to access governance
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, infra, application owners)
- Clear communicator and documentation-driven approach
