Job Details
Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Duration: 12 months
Location: Austin,Tx
Key responsibilities:
- Elicit, document, and validate business and system requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyze and re-engineer business processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and system performance.
- Develop user stories, use cases, wireframes, and mockups in accordance with business analysis and UX best practices.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timely delivery throughout the SDLC.
- Utilize tools such as Modern Requirements and Atlassian Jira for requirements management, issue tracking, and progress monitoring.
Required Qualification:
- 8+ years of Experience eliciting requirements from interviews with customers and creating well-written system requirements
- 8+ years of Experience with software development life cycles (SDLCs)
- 8+ years of Business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement experience
- 8+ years of Experience developing user stories and use cases that conform to business analysis best practices
- 8+ years of Experience designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices
- 5+ years of Demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills
- 5+ years of Demonstrated strong writing and organization skills.
Preferred Qualification:
- 3+ years of Documented work experience with the requirements management software "Modern Requirements"
- 3+ years of Documented work experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira"
- 2+ years of Documented experience working for or closely with TEA or another state or local education agency
- 1+ years of Documented work experience with Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program
