Role Description: 

  • As Principal Data Engineer, you will lead the development of a robust data analytics platform (in Databricks) to be used by a skilled team of data professionals conducting product analysis on a highly visible online product. 
  • The Principal Data Engineer is expected to work across multiple source systems, transforming how data is accessed, managed, and utilized across the organization.
  • The engineer must be highly experienced in designing and implementing robust data pipelines, optimizing data infrastructure, and enhancing data feeds to improve quality, availability, and scalability.
  • This may include Kafka streaming, batch ETL, or API data interfaces. 
  • The engineer will work in an agile software development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that empower data-driven decision-making.
