Job Title: Solid Dosage Manufacturing Technician

Location: USA - Cranbury

Department: Manufacturing / Production Reports To: Production Manager

Visa : (should have a valid work permit)

Job Purpose

The Solid Dosage Manufacturing Technician is responsible for executing all aspects of solid-dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing. This includes dispensing, granulation, sifting, milling, drying, encapsulation, coating, compression, and associated cleaning activities. The role requires strict adherence to cGMP guidelines, accurate completion of batch documentation, and consistent communication with cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Execute all scheduled commercial and non-commercial solid dosage manufacturing activities on time.

· Assist Production Management in ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.

· Set up, operate, clean, and troubleshoot all cGMP solid-dosage manufacturing equipment.

· Maintain thorough, accurate, and legible documentation in English for all batch records and logs.

· Read, understand, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Batch Records, and Safety Procedures.

· Participate in Quality Investigations, deviations, and corrective/preventive actions as required.

· Ensure cGMP production areas are cleaned and maintained in accordance with SOPs and good housekeeping practices.

· Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as specified in Batch Records and Safety Data Sheets.

· Communicate effectively with site support personnel for daily operational needs.

 

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

· Experience working in a regulated pharmaceutical solid-dosage manufacturing environment.

· Ability to read, understand, and write English documentation with strong written communication skills.

· Familiarity with solid dosage pharmaceutical equipment used for granulation, milling, blending, compression, encapsulation, and coating.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Strong attention to detail and adherence to cGMP compliance.

· Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (14 kg) unassisted.

· Maintain high personal hygiene standards as required in a cGMP environment.

· Ability to wear all required PPE, including partial and full facepieces, as per OSHA guidelines.

 

Education & Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related Life Sciences field preferred.
