DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
This Systems Analyst contractor position is part of the MCS team and will be working to develop, implement, and support the expansion of the Texas HHS Microsoft 365 Power Platform in support of custom application development. This position will perform Systems Analyst/Developer duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Dataverse, Power Pages, PowerApps, Model-driven Apps, PowerApp Portals, Business Process Flows, and more.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience
5 Required Experience with Software as a Service (Saas) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
4 Required Experience with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate technical solutions
4 Required Experience in Microsoft Power Platform development
4 Required Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven PowerApps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model
4 Required Experience developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows
4 Required Experience in Dataverse tables and uses
4 Required Experience in Power Pages portals
4 Required Experience in Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center
2 Preferred Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization
2 Preferred Good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project
2 Preferred Experience in Agile development and sprint planning
2 Preferred Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams
1 Preferred Experience with Power Platform mobile apps, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, and PowerApps portals
