DevOps Engineer - Trading Systems

A global proprietary trading firm is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support development, QA, and production environments for high-performance trading platforms. You'll collaborate with software and operations teams to build automation tools, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and improve system reliability in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities
* Build and maintain automation, monitoring, and deployment tools
* Manage Kubernetes environments using GitOps
* Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines
* Collaborate with developers and QA to improve release processes
* Contribute to planning and project execution

Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science or related field
* DevOps or software engineering experience
* Strong Python, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS skills
* Experience with CI tools, Git, and SQL
* Familiarity with TypeScript and modern front end frameworks
* Strong communication, planning, and teamwork abilities

Preferred
* Experience in large-scale CI/CD, cloud deployments, or trading systems

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary of $160,000-$200,000 + annual bonus, with comprehensive health, retirement, and wellness benefits.

This role must sit out of the firms Chicago office working in a hybrid model of 3 days in office per week.
