Note:

They would like to bring in someone with Azure Data Factory integration experience. They are planning to integrate Workday with Azure Data Factory to streamline data movement between Workday and other systems, enabling centralized reporting, analytics, and automation. This setup will support better decision-making by allowing the RIT to combine HR, payroll, and finance data with other institutional data in a secure, scalable environment.

Position Details
Our client is undergoing a major transformation, migrating from Oracle to Workday, and is seeking an experienced Workday Integration Consultant to support this initiative. This is a contract role focused on designing, developing, and deploying complex Workday integrations using a variety of tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of Workday integrations as part of a large-scale Oracle to Workday migration including seamless data integration with Azure Data Factory to support enterprise-wide reporting and analytics.
  • Build and maintain over integrations using:
  • Workday Studio
  • Workday Connectors (Core, Cloud, EIB)
  • Custom integrations leveraging Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration with external systems.
  • Utilize Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management) to support hybrid integration scenarios.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-deployment support.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in Workday integrations, with a proven track record of delivering complex solutions.
  • Hands-on experience developing Workday integrations across various modules (HCM, Payroll, Finance, etc.) and integration with Azure Data Factory
  • Deep expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • Strong experience with Azure Integration Tools, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API Management.
  • Solid understanding of data transformation, mapping, and security protocols (OAuth, SAML, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
