Job Title: Enterprise Applications Manager
Duration (Contract/CTH/Perm):6 month CFH
Schedule:Monday - Froday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Location (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote):Remote
The is not a HUGE company so the CTO said this manager will be hands on and actually doing the work but needs so be able to have intelligent business conversations. This manager will not having anyone reporting to him initially but will start adding a team under him down the road. This person will be migrating ERP platforms to a new platforms but they have not decided which one yet.
Summary :
The Enterprise Applications Manager leads the technical strategy and management of business systems across the organization, driving seamless integration, operational efficiency, and alignment with strategic objectives. This role oversees the selection, implementation, and optimization of ERP platforms and related systems and integrations, while managing the development, maintenance, and performance of enterprise applications. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting critical business processes, the Enterprise Applications Manager delivers innovative solutions that enhance productivity and user experiences. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of the organization?s business systems, directly contributing to long-term success.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Lead the selection, planning, prioritization, implementation, migration and support of ERP platforms and related systems and integrations (CRM, WMS, TMS, eCommerce, etc.). Simplify and enhance the enterprise tech stack to meet business needs. Facilitate cross-training on enterprise applications, systems, databases, and critical business processes (order-to-cash, finance, operations). Plan, prioritize, schedule, and complete the development and enhancement of enterprise applications. Maintain and update existing applications, databases, stored procedures, and other business systems to ensure reliability and accuracy. Provide training and create documentation for IT staff and employees to ensure effective use of enterprise systems. Optimize code and processes to improve performance, usability, and business efficiency. Work closely with business units and IT teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with enterprise goals. Act as Tier 2 support for IT helpdesk tickets, addressing advanced enterprise application and business process issues and assists in diagnosing and solving IT challenges. Prepare progress reports to inform management of project status and deviation from goals.
Additional Recruitment Details: Top 3 skills in order of preference Understanding integration of businesses ERP platforms SQL Databased Order to Cash Minimum of five years of related work experience Additional Qualification : Strong experience implementing and supporting integrations between enterprise business systems (ERP, CRM, WMS, TMS, eCommerce, etc.) and other applications. Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Solid understanding of financial systems and processes, data analysis, budgeting, and business operations. A strong strategic and business mindset, excellent organizational and leadership skills and outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Must have professional software development experience designing, coding, and implementing business solutions. Must have experience with .NET framework - Visual Studio, C#, VB. Strong knowledge of the use and administration of Microsoft Dynamics GP/NAV (or equivalent ERP experience). Strong knowledge of the use and administration of Microsoft SQL Server. Strong development experience in SSMS and/or Visual Studio creating ETL applications, and/or SSIS packages to handle data transformation and integrations between systems. Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development).
