Role Overview:

Avanciers are seeking a highly skilled Board Level Test Engineer to support hardware validation and troubleshooting for cutting-edge PC and server platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hardware diagnostics, scripting, and system-level testing, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product validation and transition through the NPI cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on hardware triage and first-level debugging for PC and server boards.

  • Develop and maintain diagnostic tools and test automation using Python and Shell scripts.

  • Execute structured troubleshooting to resolve test failures and setup issues.

  • Work directly with motherboards, GPUs, and high-speed interconnects in a lab environment.

  • Manage test systems connected via Ethernet, NVLink, and Infiniband.

  • Conduct testing and debugging under both Windows and Linux environments.

  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams to support diagnostics, validation, and NPI readiness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.

  • Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.

  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Solid understanding of hardware interfaces including Ethernet, Infiniband, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C, and SPI.

  • Experience working with CPUs, GPUs, and related hardware.

  • Skilled in using lab instruments for diagnostics and validation.

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

  • Linux or scripting automation experience is highly desirable.
