Our client, a leading financial company, is hiring a Business Analyst on a contract basis

Summary:

BUSINESS ANALYST

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as liaison between the business users and IT.
  • Makes recommendations to address specific business needs for IT-based solutions.
  • Collaborates with multiple cross-functional areas - externally and internally - in the implementation of system and business processes.
  • Defines system scopes and objectives, as well as the content of required documentation.
  • Evaluates new software products to determines their applicability to current and future IT environments.
  • Manages vendor relationships, including issue notifications and follow-ups until resolution.

Duties include:
  • Facilitate requirements gathering
  • Document requirements and use cases
  • Support other project documentation
  • Document UAT test cases, plans as necessary
  • Support UAT execution as needed
  • Support maintenance of project's Microsoft Teams channel

Qualifications:
  • True business analyst; interviewing end users within the ADV business, gathering problem statements, pain point with the exiting business process, translating into system business solutions.
  • Scope the solution working with architects
  • Strong communications skills and facilitation skills
  • Big 4 experience is a plus
  • BA Certification is a plus, not required
  • Not data or systems analyst

Pay Range: $54-55
