Duties and Responsibilities:

• Primary POC leading pricing efforts in the development of cost/price proposals.
• Work directly with the Business Development team leaders, project managers, and focus primarily on proposal pricing and budgets.
• Review, analyze, and interpret procurement materials, such as RFP, RFTO, RFQ, and distill information for use in budget preparation.
• Create and revise budget shells in Microsoft Excel, incorporating information from solicitations and Proposal staff.
• Play a key role in the creation of the Cost/Price Narratives and Excel-based price/cost models for federal bids that APV is pursuing.
• Support involves cost model development, cost narrative writing, and assistance with other cost/price volume requirements.
• Participate in Technical internal proposal reviews (Pink/Red Teams, Sign Offs, etc.) to ensure the technical solution is in sync with pricing.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education

• Bachelor s degree in a related field of Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, or a related degree.

Experience Requirement:

• 5+ years of related experience in Federal IT contracting, specifically emphasizing pricing and Price-To-Win analysis.
• Experience with the preparation of multi-million-dollar cost and price proposals, including FFP, T&M, and Cost-plus.

Must have skills and Knowledge:

• Must have strong experience in both Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must be organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to work well both independently and with a team.
• Must be able to work at a rapid pace that is deadline-driven.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills.
• Proficient knowledge to conduct pricing strategy meetings, pricing analysis, and competitive pricing activities, to include estimates of competitor bids and what if cost models.
• The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, analytical skills, and demonstrate exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prior knowledge and deep familiarity with the government contract bidding process
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of direct and indirect cost structures of a government contractor.
