Job Summary
Job Description
DUTIES: Optimize, automate, and integrate data using Incorta; use the following Oracle technologies: Data Platform, Data Guard, RAC, and Oracle GoldenGate; utilize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure; use AWS services including EC2, S3, and VPC; manage user roles and permissions to ensure proper data access controls; configure connections to various data sources, such as databases, APIs, and files; monitor data source connections and troubleshoot any connectivity issues; manage metadata and schemas for imported data sources; plan and implement production code deployments; add new data sources to existing models; monitor system performance metrics such as CPU usage and memory utilization; implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data against loss or corruption; test software patches and updates in a staging environment before applying them to production; evaluate performance under different schema load conditions and optimize system load configurations; respond to system alerts and resolve incidents promptly, documenting details, root cause analysis, and remediation actions taken; implement security measures such as encryption, authentication, and access controls; perform regular security audits and updates to ensure compliance with data protection regulations; test backup procedures to ensure data integrity in case of system failures by deploying tenants from Backup. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience performing data and system optimization, automation of manual work (including job schedulers, data cleanup, and scripting manual steps), system and interface integration, and data reporting; using Oracle Data Platform, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC, Oracle GoldenGate and Tableau; of which one (1) year of experience includes utilizing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure; and using AWS services including EC2, S3, and VPC.
