Job Description for Scrum Master/Project Manager
Job Description:
Supplier will provide a technical Scrum Master/Project Manager to support Client IT Application Development team. This position will deliver software that enhances value for our business stakeholders and member end users.
The Scrum Master/Project Manager leads the planning and organizing of a team of developers, testers, and analysts to transform and modernize the data warehouse and reporting software systems.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years of Scrum Master or agile project management experience for technical projects
  • Digest business process diagrams and systems interaction diagrams
  • Interpret business needs and aid in the transition of requirements to technical design
  • Promote thoughtful analysis discussions during and after requirements turnover throughout the project lifecycle
  • Organize team artifacts and iterative events/ ceremonies
  • Effectively communicate risks, dependencies, and progress to stakeholders
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders and other IT teams during the project
  • Agile/Scrum training or certification a plus
  • Experience with data warehouse and reporting systems a plus
  • Project Management tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams
Responsibilities:
The Resource s responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following, as directed by Client:
  1. Collaborate with stakeholders and provide exceptional customer service by becoming a trusted resource to our business partners and across the IT organization.
  2. Take ownership of projects/tasks/issues/impediments and work them through completion while following Client defined guidelines and project management standards. This includes:
        • Managing multiple scrum teams supporting project work as well as supporting operational and continuous improvement activities
        • Assimilation of agile practices into existing team norms and standards
        • Influencing work breakdown, collaboration, release and sprint planning for the betterment of the team and mission
  3. Conduct and participate in requirements transition and interpretation, release/ iteration planning, design/solutions, creation of JIRA boards, power point presentations for demos and stakeholder updates, retrospectives, stand-up meetings, backlog refinement and grooming sessions.
  4. Create and maintain documentation related to work performed on the project including, but not limited to: JIRA tasks, story and acceptance criteria definition, architecture diagrams, design artifacts and project wiki entries as requested by Client.
  5. Track and utilize agile flow metrics used by Client.
