QA Automation Lead

Job Title: QA Automation Lead
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a QA Automation Lead with a strong background in Quality Engineering and M&A systems integration, specifically within the Financial Services and Wealth Management domains. This role will lead end-to-end QA strategy, drive integration testing, and ensure quality execution during complex enterprise system transitions resulting from mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and architect enterprise-wide QA strategies for M&A integrations, ensuring end-to-end system validation and risk mitigation.
• Design scalable test frameworks to validate multiple platforms and data flows across financial systems.
• Oversee all phases of testing including planning, automation, execution, and defect triage.
• Define and track key QA metrics and deliver regular status updates and risk assessments to leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, business, and operations teams to align on project timelines and quality gates.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and data privacy laws.
• Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering technical excellence and accountability.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in QA/Quality Engineering, with a focus on enterprise system integration.
• Proven leadership in QA strategy design and test architecture for large-scale M&A projects.
• Strong domain expertise in Financial Services and Wealth Management platforms.
• Solid understanding of QA automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modern testing tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to stakeholders across the organization.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with tools and platforms such as Salesforce, Broadridge, Charles River, etc.
• Certifications: ISTQB, PMP, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and DevOps methodologies.
