Job Details
Middleware Engineer (WebLogic and Tomcat)
Onsite in any of these locations (Naperville/Chicago, Tempe, AZ, Dallas, TX)
Long Term Contract W2 ONLY
Responsibilities:
- Establish GitHub pipelines according to enterprise standards and business needs.
- Use base templates provided by GitHub shared services team.
- Enhance templates as needed to facilitate middleware customizations.
- Assist business application teams in implementing the designed pipeline on their repositories.
- Troubleshoot repo and pipeline utilization issues reported by business teams.
Requirements:
- Understanding of web applications architectures and, their functional requirements- network, server, B2B integrations.
- Knowledge of Apache web server, Tomcat, WebLogic and WebSphere.
- Well versed in utilizing GIT and TFS repositories
- Experience with code compilation, packaging and deployment. Familiarity with ANT and Maven.
- Experience with pipeline steps such as code scans, migrations, monitoring & alerting, logging.
- Experience with release automation or code migration tools such as GitHub, Azure Devops, the Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucker, Bamboo, Confluence), CA release automation (Nolio)
- Experience with Docker and performing builds utilizing Docker images
- Experience in Linux Shell scripting.
