We are looking for someone with marketing design experience to join our team as a digital content designer, specifically supporting digital merchandising. In this role, you will shape the customer experience by crafting clear, compelling, and conversion-driven content across our digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with merchandisers, product designers, product managers, and developers to ensure that every piece of content supports our business goals and enhances customer journey. This includes designing illustrations and animations, editing photography and videos for homepage, brand pages, category pages, email, and other digital merchandising components. We are looking to promote products and services which adhere to and complement our established brand guidelines. Design work may also include internal newsletters, how-to guides like job aids, one-pagers, presentations, and case studies.
By creating captivating and impactful visual content, you will help drive user engagement and increase sales. Your work will be integral in bringing our ideas and concepts to life, ensuring that our digital content is not only visually stunning but also informative and engaging to customers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Design and develop content for digital merchandising experiences including category pages, product detail pages, promotional campaigns, and seasonal storytelling.
Create visually engaging and educational content that enhances product discovery, supports customer decision-making, and drives digital adoption.
Translate complex merchandising strategies into clear, concise, and compelling content that resonates with target audiences.
Leverage data and insights to inform content decisions, optimize performance, and continuously improve customer experience.
Collaborate closely with copywriting and marketing colleagues to brainstorm campaign concepts and executions that will achieve desired goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand content requirements and ensure content aligns with business goals and brand voice.
Follow established brand guidelines and accessibility policies.
Research and stay up to date with design trends and best practices to ensure our digital content remains fresh and innovative.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
Maintain an elevated level of quality and attention to detail in all design work.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in design, illustration, or a related field
3+ years of experience working as a content designer, content creator, or graphic designer or illustrator, with relevant portfolio examples
Proficient in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Solid understanding of best practices in marketing design, with relevant portfolio examples
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in collaboration tools and software (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Miro, )
Diligence and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Experience working with design systems in Figma
