Our client is a leader in federal IT consulting and is looking for talented individuals to join their AI & Technology practice! Their mission is to use technology and ingenuity to help the US government across a variety of agencies.


The Data Conversion Team will be responsible for will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying conversion processes. Sample tasks include developing Java (Jrecord) programs, database stored procedures converting, transforming, and loading data files.


As a member of the Data Conversion Team you will create programs to load extracted data from legacy systems into a database, perform data quality analysis and then create extracts files for loading the new system. We are seeking associate, senior, and a lead for this team.


The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of experience with data conversion processes

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL database

  • Advanced knowledge of Java programming language

  • Advanced knowledge of ETL Tools and process creation

  • Bachelors degree and 3+ years of hands-on experience or a Masters/PhD in a related field.



Bonus Points:



  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database

  • Supports data analysis techniques to assess source data structures, identify mapping requirements, and define transformation rules for data conversion

  • Supports in designing and implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audience

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills


Hybrid work schedule - must be on-site 2-3 days per week in St Louis MO facility. Relocation assistance is available.
