Support Engineer III

Job Responsibilities:

• Review all requests for new components and assure that the parts can satisfy the existing design requirements.
• Assign inventory part numbers and construct standardized descriptions for all new parts.
• Establish and maintain specifications for custom and off-the-shelf components.
• Generate specifications for new custom parts.
• Assist design engineers in the selection of parts that best fit their requirements.
• Read and understand electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and component data sheets.
• Interface with the ECAD team in the maintenance of Libraries and Databases.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience
• Experienced with many types of components such as SoC s, chipsets, memories, PMIC s, MOSFET s, diodes, resistors, inductors, capacitors, connectors and cable assemblies.
• Experienced with ROHS/WEEE.

• Experienced with high volume manufacturing assembly and test lines.
• Experienced with Agile PLM or equivalent type product.
• Master's or advanced degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering.
• Experienced with high volume manufacturing assembly and test lines.
• Experienced with Agile PLM or equivalent type product.
• Experienced with Schematic Editor tools such as Cadence Orcad (latest version) or equivalent type editor.
• Demonstrated competence in the usage of digital oscilloscopes, multi-meters, LCR meters, curve-tracers, and related component test equipment.
