Job Summary:

The IT Field Service Technician is responsible to develop, create, test, and modify customized software applications across a variety of languages individually or as part of a team. Activities include analyzing user needs, estimating potential costs, and developing software application solutions. Also includes customizing software applications for client use with the aim of optimizing operation efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

Requirements:

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred in Computer Science
  • 5-7 Years' related work experience
  • US work authorization (Required)

Skills/abilities:
  • Experienced with virtualization.
  • Experienced use of and development using SQL.
  • Experienced use of and development utilizing Azure.
  • Experience using software version control tools (DevOps).
  • Experience in multi-value database programming languages such as C#, Python, etc.
  • Experience developing software using object-oriented programming techniques.
  • Proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office products).
  • Collaborating with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specification
  • Demonstrate excellent organization skills, including the ability to work effectively and independently in an atmosphere of multiple projects, across multiple products.
  • Understanding of basic networking and configuration.
  • Understanding of server configuration and management.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
  • Experience using ASP.Net, Web API, Angular and similar languages
  • Experience with .NET application development and SQL Server Reporting Services

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently required to sit at a desk/workstation for long period of time.
  • Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
  • Light Lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.

While performing duties of this job, the employee may work under the following conditions:
  • Construction work site while wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Exposed to mechanical moving equipment
  • Fumes and airborne particles
  • Outside weather conditions
  • Noisy environments

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Travel: 40%
