RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a skilled Performance Tester in Topeka, KS.
Responsibilities:
* Designing and creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for performance and load testing
* Developing and maintaining performance and load testing scripts
* Performing analysis of business requirements to determine testability
* Create and execute new test cases and regression tests
* Build, conduct, and evaluate performance and load tests
* Determine feasibility of application to meet applicable service levels based on test results
* Interact with business areas to better understand product requirements
* Design and develop test performance strategy and processes
* Review and recommend performance testing tools
* Create and execute performance test case scripts using the appropriate test management tools
* Creating and/or collecting Test Data to support the test requirements
* Analyze Business Requirements to determine test strategy
* Identify and develop test automation functionality for various types of testing, i.e., regression, load, performance, etc.
* Create, review, and communicate test result reports
* Perform issue identification and resolution from test results
* Installing and configuration of performance test tools
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with performance and load testing tools
* Extensive experience with SQL
* Experience building out frameworks for other program languages in addition to SQL
* Experience in test case development and execution
* Experience in building test automation scripts
* Understanding of metrics and key performance indicators
* Experience evaluating performance test results to recommend enhancements
* Experience developing test cases based on business requirements
* Ability to lead meetings with co-workers and business areas
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
