The Business Analyst is responsible for determining the needs of a project, acting as a liaison between product owners, stakeholders, and software development teams. They analyze requirements for a project, reconcile conflicting interests, and determine how to translate the product owners' vision into a plan that can be implemented by developers. The job description of a requirements analyst includes analyzing operational business flow, determining business need for systems functional changes, assessing systems suitability, obtaining and documenting users' requirements documents, and assisting in data analysis.
