RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer in Bonita Springs, FL.
Summary:
Typically, in this role you will design, implement, and support Fortinet solutions, focusing on network security architecture, deployment, and troubleshooting, often involving FortiGate firewalls and related products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Security Architecture: Contribute to the design and implementation of secure network architectures, ensuring compliance and security standards
* Deployment and Integration: Lead the deployment, integration, and support of Fortinet solutions, including physical and virtual firewalls
* Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve network security issues, utilizing tools and diagnostics to identify and resolve problems
* Security Management: Manage and maintain network security devices, policies, and configurations
* Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, customer support) to deliver solutions
* Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for implementations and procedures
* Staying current: Keep up to date with the latest security threats and technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science)
* Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Fortinet NSE, CISSP) can be a strong advantage
* Fortinet Experience: Experience with Fortinet products and solutions is highly desirable
* Fortinet Product Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of Fortinet products, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiWeb, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP
* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, routing, etc.), firewalls, and security concepts
* Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network security issues
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
