Our client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical parts, modules, and subsystems. This is a 100% onsite role with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Summary:
Our client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical parts, modules, and subsystems. This is a 100% onsite role with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete design process, including requirements specification, feasibility studies, cost and scheduling, and conducting various analyses such as circuit, timing, thermal/cooling, electrical loads, and FPGA modeling.
- Utilize design tools like OrCAD, PSpice, and Xilinx/Altera FPGA/EPLD development systems for conceptual and detailed design.
- Create detailed drawings, present at design reviews, procure prototype parts, and perform system integration and prototype testing before handoff to manufacturing.
- Work with other engineering groups (ME, OE, SW, systems, and manufacturing) to ensure flawless integration and testing.
- Develop required supporting documentation, such as assembly and test procedures, and service manuals.
- Work closely with and manage suppliers to ensure all design requirements are specified and achieved.
- Address and resolve product issues throughout all product phases.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing electrical parts, modules, and subsystems.
- PLC programming skills (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay rate range: up to $78.74 an hour
