Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Security Design, Implementation, and Administration, specifically in SAP ECC environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP TMS (Transportation Management System) and production support.
  • Deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts, including role design, transaction code troubleshooting, and authorization reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, segregation of duties (SoD), and risk mitigation controls.
  • Experience collaborating on cross-functional SAP projects, with a focus on security architecture .


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain SAP security controls and configurations across ECC and TMS modules.
  • Perform ongoing risk assessments, security evaluations, and compliance audits.
  • Manage and troubleshoot authorization issues, user roles, and access provisioning.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, including forensic analysis and root cause assessments.
  • Deploy and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with project teams to secure SAP landscapes throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery, data protection, and incident response procedures.
  • Create and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices in line with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and support to users and technical staff on security protocols and awareness.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in SAP and information security, recommending improvements and tools as needed.


Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in automating security incidents via scripts/tools.
  • Background in network security or infrastructure architecture.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SAP Security certification.
