Position Title: GIS Project Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Interview Process: Either Web Cam or In Person
Position Type: Contract

The IT Project Manager 2 (GIS) supports the management of multiple internal and external technical projects, ensuring timely delivery, accurate documentation, and adherence to software and infrastructure best practices. This role focuses on project coordination, communication, and process improvement within a hybrid Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with teams, clients, and vendors on project activities.

  • Use Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional PM methods to manage timelines and deliverables.

  • Maintain and update project boards (Jira, ServiceNow) and dashboards.

  • Create project charters, kickoffs, roadmaps, and meeting materials.

  • Draft and manage project documentation and 'how to' guides.

  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement areas.

  • Support team communication, escalate issues when needed, and reinforce priorities.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changes.

  • Proficiency with PM tools (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, SharePoint).

  • Skilled in meeting analysis, scheduling (Outlook), and documentation.

  • 3 5 years of tech project management; degree or certifications preferred.
