Job Details
The Web Analyst is responsible for managing Google Analytics profiles and reporting on the performance of and the Ameren mobile app.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage the Google Analytics 360 and GA4 profiles for , the Ameren mobile app and any other third-party integrations within Client
Work with business stakeholders to gather tracking requirements and translate them into a measurement plan for the development teams to implement via the data layer or create GTM tags to collect data.
QA Google Analytics data layer implementations and GTM tags and identify any quality or PII issues
Manage and maintain Clients Google Analytics 360 documentation for our measurement plan
Review any new website or app pages and/or functionality to ensure the current measurement plan covers tracking needs and/or update accordingly.
Pull ongoing and Adhoc website analytics reports and provide relevant insights regarding site or app performance and customer behavior.
Create and/or maintain Google Looker Studio dashboards for various stakeholders to self-serve data as needed.
Review data and insights looking for opportunities to optimize the customer journey, marketing campaigns or strategies on the website and mobile app
Synthesize data in a visual way to pull together the story and provide insights and recommendations for various stakeholders, including Corporate Communications, Digital, UX and program teams.
Create a governance plan and document processes for maintaining, updating and creating new tracking for our Google Analytics profiles.

Working with developers. Tracking custom data layer. Coming up with measurement plans.
Stay updated with Data guidelines form Google Analytics. Make sure tag team is doing proper testing before going live.
Google analytics transitioned to Google Analytics 4. Need to go there fast. So, should be well versed in GA4. Making sure the transition happens smoothly.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in a marketing, analytical or IT discipline (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science or Mathematics, etc.). MBA or other related graduate degree preferred. Three or more years of professional experience in website analytics, and or marketing required.
Skills and Abilities:
Certification in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Demonstrated ability to analyze website data and design a marketing analysis report required.
Proficient in various web analytics programs like WebTrends, Google Analytics, Dynatrace and Tealeaf.
Experience utilizing reporting tools like Power BI and Google Data Studio.
Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns required.
Demonstrated ability to work across IT, Product, UX and Marketing/Communications teams.
