Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Operations Analyst to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. This is a Contract to permanent position where you will play a pivotal role in analyzing performance data, developing dashboards, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in business intelligence tools and a proven ability to manage data quality and reporting initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Lead the creation and management of Power BI dashboards to deliver data insights and support operational improvements.

Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for enhancing business processes.

Coordinate the development of performance metrics and collaborate with division managers to ensure data-driven decision-making.

Conduct research and provide strategic recommendations to support long-term departmental goals.

Oversee records management and ensure compliance with relevant statutes and policies.

Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure transparency and accessibility of departmental information.

Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documents for stakeholders and leadership teams.

Manage special projects and departmental initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.

Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate innovation and continuous process improvement.

Evaluate policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, consistency, and adherence to administrative guidelines.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Technology, or a related field, or six years of relevant experience as a substitute.

Minimum of five years of experience in data analysis, business operations, or project management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard creation and data visualization.

Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, PowerDMS, Adobe Acrobat, and ability to learn new software systems.

Knowledge of financial processes, business planning, and budget development.

Familiarity with research techniques, data collection methods, and best practices in analysis.

Strong analytical skills with experience in ensuring data quality and conducting quality assurance.

Certifications in Green Belt Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
