RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Altamonte Springs, FL that is seeking an API Management Consultant.

Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain Azure API Management services for enterprise-wide API publishing
* The API Management Consultant will collaborate with development teams to onboard APIs into the management platform
* Ensure consistent implementation of authorization and authentication mechanisms across APIs
* Support the configuration and lifecycle management of APIs, including versioning, policies, and access control
* Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to align API management with enterprise standards
* Assist in designing scalable and secure API management architecture
* The API Management Consultant will provide guidance on best practices for API governance, monitoring, and analytics
* Perform additional configuration and operational tasks to support API consumers and producers

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with Azure API Management (preferred), Apigee, or AWS API Gateway
* Strong understanding of API lifecycle management in an enterprise environment
* Familiarity with authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
* Ability to manage APIs in a hybrid cloud environment, with a focus on Azure
* Experience working in a .NET/C# environment (no development required)
* Knowledge of microservices architecture and how APIs are exposed and consumed
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
