Job Description: Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives within the Oil & Gas and Chemical sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of the North American SAP services landscape, strong industry relationships, and a value-based selling mindset. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding Client s footprint across strategic energy accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive SAP services sales with a specific focus on Oil & Gas and Chemical verticals in North America, primarily Texas and the Greater Houston Area.
Leverage existing industry relationships to generate new business opportunities and open strategic doors for Client.
Build and nurture strong connections within the SAP ecosystem, particularly with SAP Account Executives (AEs) covering energy accounts.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of North American sales cycles and key business drivers in the Oil & Gas industry.
Collaborate proactively with the Marketing and Inside Sales teams to drive demand generation campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives.
Maintain strong knowledge and positioning of SAP solutions including S/4HANA, Ariba, BTP, IS-Oil, SAC, and other relevant technologies.
Apply a value-based selling approach tailored to customer challenges and transformation goals.
Conduct effective account mapping to identify key stakeholders including gatekeepers, influencers, decision-makers, and champions.
Embrace a collaborative and customer-first culture, aligned with Client s values of ownership, commitment, and walking the last mile.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in SAP services sales in the North American market, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Chemicals industry.
Strong network of industry contacts in Houston and across the energy sector.
Demonstrated success in enterprise sales, account penetration, and relationship-building.
Prior experience engaging with SAP teams and partner ecosystems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of accountability and collaboration.
