ASSYST is seeking a Jr. Power Platform Developer to support our client in Austin, Texas.
The Jr. Power Platform Developer is responsible for developing and supporting custom business solutions using Microsoft s Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low-code/no-code development, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for solving real-world business problems through automation and data insights.
Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)
Job Location: Austin, TX ( Fully Remote )
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Applications: Build and maintain custom business apps using Power Apps tailored to stakeholder requirements.
- Automate Workflows: Design, implement, and manage process automations using Power Automate to improve efficiency.
- Data Visualization: Create dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
- Integration: Integrate Power Platform tools with Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) and third-party systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and implement technical requirements.
- Support & Training: Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver end-user training for developed solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform tools: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with basic data modeling, DAX, and Power Query is a plus.
- Ability to document processes, workflows, and technical specifications clearly.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Azure services, APIs, or custom connectors
- Microsoft Power Platform or related certifications
- Knowledge of agile project methodologies
