Job Overview
As a Sr Engineer - Network Deployment Workflow Technical Product Specialist, your mission will be to make CITD engineering workflow flow with industry leading efficiency across multiple CITD domains (IP / Security / Hardware Deployment / Critical Facilities). The right candidate will understand how network engineering and implementation occurs in T-Mobile, will see the whole playing field. This role will exhibit leadership working across multiple engineering, developer, and automation teams to integrate systems, automate workflows, and enable scalable solution. Driving a technical vision through implementation and iterating for continual improvement is at the heart of the role.

Job Responsibilities:
- Build & Optimize
- Envision and drive the evolution, simplification, and automation of CITD core network deployment engineering workflow.
- Collaborates with Lean and Agile development team stakeholders to writes user stories and requirements that include acceptance criteria and acceptance tests, typically for 1+ Agile/Scrum teams.
- Reviews and accepts completed user stories for each iteration (sprint), being accountable and responsible for user story
- Develop ways to monitor engineering workflow to improve it, including a focus on timeframes and tracking where the process fails and human interventions are needed-And fast iterate the driving of new development cycles (sprints) based on learnings.
- Integrate & Secure
- Drive integrations with third-party systems via APIs, web services, and REST/SOAP.
- Ensure network-awareness of ServiceNow apps by applying networking fundamentals like IP routing, VPNs, and firewall compatibility.
- Collaborate & Innovate
- Partner with engineers across Technology, PMO, IT, cybersecurity, and more to ensure technical alignment.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for application and infrastructure performance.
- Harness Generative AI and Data to work smarter, not harder, and accelerate results
- Lead & Mentor
- Serve as CITD's subject matter expert on Service Now Project Management module and other workflow tools.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior developers and engineers.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant experience in network engineering & implementation, project management, product management, and/or application development
- Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field.
- Deep Familiarity using multiple CITD core engineering tools - for example: Service Now Project module (CITD Velocity), Service Now ITSM Change module, Magenta Built Project Management tool, ePIF design tool, o9 supply chain tool, Ansible and Pronghorn network engineering automation tools.
- Technical Writing Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences.
- Communication: Proven ability to communicate with Leadership effectively and efficiently, technical and non-technical audiences while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and the ServiceNow API/Glide framework.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Solid grasp of IP network engineering principles
- Telecom or enterprise-scale IT experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or System Administrator.
- Cisco CCNA Certification.
- At least 18 years of age
