Job Overview:
The client is seeking a Content Designer to craft and deliver the right content to the right user at the right time. This role involves identifying content needs, creating user-centric content, and ensuring it is findable, easy-to-understand, and actionable. The Content Designer will leverage emerging AI technologies and conversational design principles to optimize content experiences, collaborating with AI specialists, product designers, product owners, and engineers to develop conversational interfaces such as chatbots and virtual assistants. A strong UX portfolio demonstrating the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and concise experiences is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement content strategy for a dedicated workstream or functional area, collaborating with product teams to develop digital solutions.
  • Proactively initiate user research to explore undefined problems and identify strategic opportunities for content optimization.
  • Leverage customer research, personas, journey maps, and site data to develop content strategies targeting user needs and business goals.
  • Utilize information architecture (IA) skills to ensure content is easily findable and user-friendly.
  • Write concise, engaging UX content adhering to brand guidelines for tone and voice.
  • Continuously seek and integrate user feedback and test results to optimize content.
  • Provide mentorship to other UX disciplines to ensure design solutions meet customer needs.
  • Utilize AI-powered content tools and analytics platforms to enhance content personalization and optimize delivery.
  • Design and strategize content for conversational interfaces, including chatbots and virtual assistants, using conversational UX principles.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and product teams to create and refine conversational content flows.
  • Analyze conversational data and user interactions to improve content effectiveness and user satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional writing and editing experience in digital and online platforms.
  • A strong portfolio of written work demonstrating business impact and results.
  • Experience using methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Lean Startup.
  • Experience leading content initiatives from ideation through implementation.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present projects and status reports to leadership.
  • Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to translate content into various artifacts and documentation.
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of AI-powered content tools and platforms, including content personalization and recommendation systems.
  • Experience with conversational UX design principles, including chatbot dialogue design and natural language generation.
  • Familiarity with conversational design frameworks and tools (e.g., Google Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework, or Rasa) is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze conversational analytics and user interaction data to inform content strategy improvements.
  • Adaptability to rapidly adopt new digital technologies and integrate them into content workflows.

Pay Range: $58/hr Fixed
