UKG Boomi Integration Specialist

Notes:

  • Candidate must have hands on experience with UKG Boomi (Boomi for UKG)
    • The certifications for either are not enough
  • CE should understand the data flow within UKG
    • Current struggle: the interfaces can be developed but there isn t enough expertise on the team with UKG specifically to interpret the data and how it works
  • Should be able to build interfaces from scratch not just maintain existing ones

Project Overview

  • Customer is starting a major ERP Cloud transformation project moving to the Oracle Cloud. Developers would be part of the client s IT project team responsible for integration Design, Build and Testing. Experience and data and integration knowledge with the latest Oracle Cloud ERP applications is a major plus. The customer integration tools are listed below where intimate skills are required.
  • Looking for candidates that have experience with custom mapping functions where you use JavaScript and groovy script to code custom scenarios. This is utilized to do pretty basic things like formatting data values or deriving values based upon the inbound data. Sometimes other functions need to be applied to the values before the data is landed.
  • UKG Pro Workforce Management (workforce Dimensions) Partner Integration Workshop If candidate has this certification, that would be perfect fit.

UKG Boomi (or Boomi for UKG)

This refers to UKG s use of the Boomi platform to power integrations within its own ecosystem. UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) uses Boomi as the backbone for its Integration Hub, especially in products like UKG Dimensions, UKG Pro, and UKG Ready.

How UKG uses Boomi:

  • UKG embeds Boomi to connect its HCM and WFM systems with external platforms (e.g., payroll, benefits, ERP)
  • Offers pre-configured integration templates for common use cases
  • Supports custom integrations using Boomi s tools and UKG s APIs
  • Ensures secure, API-based data flows with encryption and compliance standards
