Job Title: CMS Developer / SDL Engineer
Location: Remote (Preferred: Candidates in PST Time Zone or Seattle-based)
Duration: 12 Months
Contract Type: W2 / 1099
Rate: As per Market


Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced CMS Developer / SDL Engineer to support a Seattle-based client. This is a remote position, though candidates located in or near the Pacific Time Zone are preferred for collaboration purposes.

This role requires strong hands-on experience with SDL Tridion Sites and Docs, along with the ability to develop extensions, manage content types, and contribute to publishing pipelines. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of backend development expertise and CMS platform knowledge, with bonus points for experience in Adobe AEM or headless CMS platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom plugins and publishing pipelines in SDL Tridion (Sites and Docs).

  • Create and manage content types in SDL Sites.

  • Contribute to and enhance the publishing pipeline.

  • Build and maintain APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.

  • Work with SDL Docs Cloud, including metadata and custom publishing features.

  • Develop extensions using C#, and maintain robust backend components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable CMS solutions.

  • Ensure smooth integration of content across digital channels.


Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in SDL Tridion (Sites & Docs) including cloud-based implementations.

  • Ability to write and maintain custom plugins, metadata models, and publishing workflows.

  • Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for API development.

  • Solid background in C# development.

  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services.

  • Understanding of CMS architectures, especially content publishing workflows.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Adobe AEM.

  • Exposure to headless CMS systems (e.g., Contentful, Strapi, Sanity.io).
