SR Software Developer - WMS - CA

Our long-term client located in Irving, TX is in search of a Sr. Software Developer with expertise in ERP systems and a strong foundation in software development to support and optimize the enterprise applications landscape. This Sr. Software Developer – WMS opportunity is a direct-hire position requiring 4 days on-site/Fridays remote with the ability to sit in the following locations:

• Visalia, CA

SALARY OFFERED: Up to $140K depending on candidate’s experience, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and/or participate in WMS enhancements, implementation, and upgrade projects.
• Develop, test & deploy custom enhancements & interfaces using modern development tools and APIs.
• Support, maintain, and enhance Warehouse Management System (Inbound, Outbound, Warehouse Operations, and Inventory Management).
• Configure and troubleshoot Blue Yonder WMS, including workflows, integrations, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate WMS with ERP and other third-party systems to ensure seamless end-to-end data flow.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, and SOPs.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical issues.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and training to users across IT and Supply Chain functions.
• Work with Blue Yonder to install new enhancements/project rollouts and follow up on patch updates for any application issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in hands-on software development (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, SQL).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder (BY/JDA) WMS including Blue Yonder WMS MOCA commands, Configurations, Page Builder or Jasper Reports, Java, JDA integrator & Creation of rollout scripts.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environments.
• Experience of working with ERP platforms based on IBM iSeries, SAP, Oracle, Infor, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experienced in working in an Agile ecosystem using DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with EDI, APIs, and system integrations.
• Excellent Data analysis skills using SQL, Excel, etc.
• Experienced in working with middleware or integration tools such as Dell Boomi or MuleSoft preferred.

• Certified in Blue Yonder WMS or ERP platform skills preferred.
• Experienced in integrating WMS with a Parcel shipping system like ProShip or Nshift preferred.
• Experienced in integrating WMS with Conveyor systems, RF devices, printers, and workstations preferred.
• Experienced in BY WMS Version 2018 or higher is highly desired.
