Senior Business Partner

Are you ready to develop strategic relationships within larger customer areas and identify ways for IT to partner with them in achieving and exceeding business objectives? As a IT Business Partner in the Digital organisation, you will drive the delivery of innovative business solutions to build maximum competitive advantage. This role will combine your AZ internal knowledge, in-depth understanding of the business area direction, and IT expertise to drive the creation of innovative technology solutions.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Business Partner working in the Digital IT Strategy team, you will build strong strategic relationships with complex customer groups and senior partners, developing a deep understanding of the short-term and long-term business direction. You will assess and prioritize requirements in line with IT strategy, develop and maintain the customer account plan, handle a portfolio of investments, lead high-level investigations on requirements specifications and feasibility studies, and proactively find opportunities for IT to deliver innovative technology solutions. You will also work collaboratively with various teams within the organization to ensure alignment and identify cross-business innovative opportunities.

Essential Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years minimum experience
  • Evidence of leading and developing innovative solutions using industry 4.0 technology and/or data
  • A proven track record of delivering results
  • Experience of building high-value cases & mobilizing high-value investments
  • Experience of leading teams with a demonstrable track record of motivational and achievement based leadership
  • Experience of managing third-party suppliers and have strong network and consulting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong influencing, networking, and team working skills
  • High-level awareness of developments in the Information Technology marketplace
  • Demonstrate positive relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
  • Proficiency in planning, change management, and problem-solving and able to resolve issues of a highly complex and strategic nature
  • Proven ability to relate and respond to business needs in an IT environment
  • Ability to run negotiations, expectations, and solutions across complex groups

  • Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams
  • Ability to partner and work in a matrix organization
  • Experience within a manufacturing or supply organisation
