Job Details

Location: Council Bluffs, IA
Salary: $38.00 USD Hourly - $48.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer III

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial investigations of issues submitted by data center teams, ensuring proper documentation, gathering necessary data, and performing preliminary analysis before escalation or resolution.
  • Perform first-level root cause analysis of hardware-related problems and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Analyze fleet deployment and production data to identify quality concerns, creating bug reports and directing them to appropriate partner teams.
  • Gather and interpret manufacturing and field data to uncover actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Track, analyze, and report product performance metrics to stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Review, refine, and create technical documentation, including deployment guides, population documents, and repair procedures, based on findings and technician feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in computing hardware quality, product engineering, test engineering, or electronic hardware systems issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization using SQL or Python.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing server, storage, and networking products.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and databases for data management.
  • Background in hardware development (R&D) lab environments.
  • Previous experience in a data center setting.
