World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) has an opportunity available for a WiFi Operations Support Engineer to support our client at the location Remote.

Title: WiFi Operations Support Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration/Type of Job: 6 Months

After hours work required Thursdays and Fridays (3-11pm EST) to participate in night migrations

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise in WiFi Technologies: Extensive experience with MS WiFi Technologies, including proficiency in supporting WiFi refresh projects. Familiarity with Cisco Access Points (models 9136, 9130, 3702, and 3802), Cisco Cat 9k Switches, and Wireless LAN Controllers (models 5520, 8540, 9800) is essential.
  • Operational Support Skills: Proven ability to provide operations support for weekly migrations, including preparing and reviewing cutsheets with Level 3 Operations. Experience in remote configuration of WiFi controllers and switches, as well as testing support for various WiFi networks (Personal, Guest, and Next Gen).
  • Problem-Solving and Escalation Management: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to act as a point of escalation for Operations-related issues and tasks. Experience in fielding escalations and resolving technical issues related to site operations.
  • Vendor and Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with vendors, field technicians, and internal teams.
