Senior Project Engineer

Essential Function and Responsibilities

• Use advanced technique, theory precept and practice in the civil engineering field and related science and discipline.
• Serve as liaison between client and agencies, subcontractor, and design teams on complex project issue.
• Make design recommendation, adaptation, and modification
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and or coordinate detailed phase of assigned project work.
• Carry out complex or novel assignment requiring the development of new or improved civil engineering technique or procedure to create new or refined equipment, material, process or method
• Create own design work using computer aided or manual drafting technique.
• Prepare report and correspondence concerning the direction of project.
• Perform field investigation or inspection.
• Conduct constructability review or assist in the design plan review of other civil engineering project.
• Review plan and prepare review technical specification, contract document, and estimate
• Educational Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• PE license strongly preferred
• Five or more (5+) year of experience in civil engineering, land development industry or related industry experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer application and civil engineering design software such as Civil3D.
• Familiarity with reading construction plan.
• Basic understanding of financial reports and metric.
• Data analysis and interpretation skill.
• Thorough understanding of business and financial principles in a consulting business.
• Must hold a valid state driver license and successfully pass a motor vehicle check
