Description
Coordinates the completion of all tasks / deliverables for all phases of marketing projects.
Ensures consistent and diligent use of project methodology, tools, templates, repositories, and portfolio/project management tools by all project team members.
Ensures the timely and accurate completion of marketing project deliverables.
Maintains project schedule to include tasks, durations, resources assignments, percentage complete, and start / end dates, etc.
Conducts project meetings including kick offs; documents and distributes meeting agendas and meeting minutes, tracks accomplishments, key milestones, decisions, risk/issues, etc.
Mitigates risk and resolves issues; escalates any critical risks / issues to the Project Owner and Project Manager.
Confirms requests and briefs are complete and accurate prior to kick off.
Coordinates review & approvals within the proofing tool.
Submits final assets through Compliance review and distributes to pre-determined locations once fully approved.
Project Manager required knowledge:
Basic acumen of marketing processes in the retail / pet industry.
Basic familiarity with project management concepts, interactions between knowledge areas and process groups, and inputs / tools and techniques / outputs in each knowledge area that explain how to approach project management and implement solutions.
Basic knowledge of tools / technology for office productivity, project management, portfolio management and communications.
Required skills:
Proficiency in performing project management tasks on low complexity projects, acquired through hands-on experience, by leveraging knowledge.
Required abilities:
Basic analytical thinking / problem solving and decision-making skills.
Maturing behavioral characteristics such as ethics, accountability, trustworthiness, organization / time management and flexibility / adaptability.
Basic communication skills and interpersonal / interaction skills.
Basic ability to build / lead teams, resolve conflicts and mentor / motivate team members.
Traffic Manager required experience:
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall process methodologies and project management software (Workfront) is highly desired.
1-2 years of experience; requires moderate level of supervision.
Experience in a financial services or highly regulated environment is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
