About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Data Engineering Cloud Developer with strong skills in Python and SQL development, particularly within AWS cloud services. This role supports all phases of application design and development, including statistical modeling, testing, debugging, deployment, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have a background in ETL, data transformation, and cloud architecture, with a passion for building scalable solutions that power enterprise analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications using Python and SQL for cloud-based environments including AWS Lambda, Glue, Redshift, SQS, and Aurora
- Collaborate with engineering teams to write and implement programs according to technical specifications
- Develop business processes, analytic functions, data models, interfaces, and visualizations based on input from engineers and subject matter experts
- Support existing software systems by repairing, modifying, and expanding code as needed
- Work on services and pipelines that source, transform, and deliver data for analytics and operational use
- Participate in performance optimization, system testing, and continuous integration efforts
- Leverage statistical and analytical techniques to support advanced data initiatives
- Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with architectural best practices
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3–5 years of experience in Python development using cloud services and SQL-based data analysis
- Hands-on expertise in AWS DevOps and development tools including Lambda, Glue, Redshift, SQS, and Aurora
- Experience in building and maintaining ETL processes in cloud-native environments
- Ability to interpret and implement specifications provided by engineers and data experts
- Exposure to analytics and statistics in a production data environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote and fast-paced setting
