Job Details

Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Architect

Description of Job:

  • Engage in the management of the full life-cycle infrastructure architectural process for large scale projects
  • Support Citrix application builds and release cycles
  • Manage Cisco ASA firewalls and Microsoft ISA firewalls in production environment providing secure configurations and monitoring of the firewall logs
  • Engage in the provision, configuration and maintenance of cloud resources including server instances, load balancers, security groups, DNS management, certificates
  • Formulate strategic plans to implement diverse server environments for assigned projects
  • Engage in the development of long term strategies regarding virtualization and storage
  • Provide senior level technical support for global operations for various infrastructure platforms
  • Create individualized technology transition plans to assist company client in the efficient migration of legacy technologies into newer IP technologies
  • Prepare individualized training and support documents to consolidate within shareable databases to be provided to new project hires
  • Monitor infrastructure performance to identify and resolve system architectural infrastructure issues
  • Engage in the cross functional planning and Implementation of software production and deployment methodologies that are in alignment with existing security protocols
  • Implement procedural and process improvements that enhance time tracking, contract management, inventory management and SLA tracking/reporting
  • Maintain high standards for the installation of infrastructure software / hardware for company clients.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering. A Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering plus five years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate work experience in the information technology field will be accepted in lieu of the Master's degree.
  • Any suitable combination of education, training or experience consistent with stated requirements will be accepted.
  • Paid travel to unanticipated client sites within the U.S. is required
