As a Senior Lead Data Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Data Protection Recovery Team, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality data architecture solutions for various software applications and platform products. Drive significant business impact and help shape the global target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple data architecture domains.

Job responsibilities
  • Lead the onboarding process for new data sources, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
  • Identify the System of Record (SOR) for data, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data sources.
  • Map data requirements to downstream systems, facilitating efficient data flow and utilization.
  • Develop and implement strategies for performing data completeness checks, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Design and maintain data architecture frameworks that support business objectives and scalability.
  • Evaluate new and current technologies using existing data architecture standards and frameworks.
  • Drive data architecture decisions that impact product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
  • Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on Computer Science or Information Technology concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Proven experience with on-premises data systems and external cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data architecture solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with data governance, data security, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
