100% remote - 20 per week - 2 month project - w2 only

We are seeking an experienced Software Lifecycle Management (SLM) Consultant to support the deployment, configuration, and data model extension of key service engineering objects Service Plan, Service Requirement, and Work Card within a PLM environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of service lifecycle data structures and prior experience customizing these objects to meet customer-specific requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and deploy Service Plan, Service Requirement, and Work Card modules within an SLM or PLM platform.

  • Customize and extend the data models for Service Plan, Service Requirement, and Work Card to support customer-specific business processes.

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and end-users to define technical requirements and deliver tailored SLM solutions.

  • Ensure data integrity, system performance, and configuration consistency across the service lifecycle modules.

  • Participate in workshops, design sessions, and customer-facing reviews to gather input and provide recommendations on best practices.

  • Support integration efforts with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, Field Service) as it pertains to service data.

  • Develop documentation, configuration guides, and user support materials related to the implemented SLM functionality.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SLM or PLM tools (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA).

  • Proven experience configuring and extending Service Plan, Service Requirement, and Work Card objects in a real-world customer environment.

  • Strong understanding of service BOMs, maintenance task definitions, and digital service documentation.

  • Familiarity with data model extension techniques and best practices.

  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Teamcenter SLM or similar platforms.

  • Knowledge of scripting, XML, or proprietary configuration languages used in PLM systems.

  • Familiarity with service execution systems or field service management tools.

  • Certification in PLM/SLM platforms or formal training in lifecycle management.
