Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using SAS and other programming languages as needed.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement data analysis and reporting solutions using SAS to support business objectives.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software development and SAS.
- Document software designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SAS programming and data manipulation.
- Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Solid understanding of database management and SQL.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Experience in cloud computing platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 7 years of relevant experience in software development.
- Proven experience with SAS programming in a professional setting.
