IT Infrastructure Project Manager - US

Type of Position: Contract-to-Hire

Location: San Jose. 100% in-Office presence required.

Reporting to Sr. IT Services Director, IT Infrastructure Project Manager will lead planning, execution and delivery of IT Infrastructure projects including Server and Storage Upgrades, Security Initiatives, Network Upgrades, Cloud Migrations and more. This role requires strong project management skills, deep technical understanding of IT Infrastructure systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects (planning, execution, monitoring, and closure)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Security, Support etc.)
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines and resource allocations
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Ensure that infrastructure solutions align with organizational goals and compliance requirements
  • Manage risks, resolve issues, and communicate project status to stakeholders
  • Coordinate change management and ensure minimal impact on business operations
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget
  • Maintain project documentation and generate regular progress reports
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure project management practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years IT Infrastructure support/engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure project management
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (Active Directory, networking, storage, servers, VPN, cloud, virtualization, VDI, security)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, O365) and Video Conferencing services
  • Knowledge of Enterprise backup solutions
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, enterprise infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
